An All-American in each of her three years; Nana Lukengu Corts was twice chosen as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) Player of the Year and was tabbed as the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2000-01. A three-time, first-team All-Conference pick and Daktronics/CoSIDA All-Region selection; she still stands as the program’s all-time leader in steals (396) and is also the school’s second all-time leading scorer (1,658), 12th all-time leading rebounder (659); and is sixth all-time in assists (341). A vital part of the three NCAA Tournament teams including the 1999-00 Elite Eight ball club that set an NCAA Division II single-season record with 34 consecutive victories, Lukengu Corts led the nation in steals (152) in her final year with the 10th highest single-season mark in NCAA history. Furthermore, her 396 career steals still rank as the 12th highest mark in the NCAA record book. To this day, she owns the top-three single-season scoring marks in school history and the top-two, single-season steals totals by a Saint Rose player.
