Saint Rose Athletics Hall of Fame
Brandon Birchak was the first Saint Rose student-athlete to win an NCAA National Championship. Recovering from a broken back in 2005, he returned to the pool to win both 1 and 3-meter diving events at the 2007 NCAA Division II Championships. A mere 9.3 points shy of the NCAA record of 556.40 points, Brandon was named the 2007 NCAA Diver of the Year. A four-time NCAA All American, four-time Northeast-10 Conference Champion, and a two-time NE10 Diver of the Year, Brandon was also the runner-up in the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the 2008 NCAA Championships.
