Saint Rose Athletics Hall of Fame
Brian Beaury has secured his reputation as one of the nation’s finest college basketball mentors on any level. He owns a 517-218 (.703) career record, is among the top-10 all-time NCAA Division II coaches in terms of victories, and two years ago became only the 34th NCAA II coach to post 500 career wins. Beaury’s teams have become synonymous with success. The Golden Knights have qualified for postseason play in each of his 24 years at the helm, have made three “Elite Eight” appearances, a national semifinal appearance, and have garnered 11 NCAA Tournament berths within the past 19 seasons. Beaury, who was inducted into the New York State Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame last spring, has guided Saint Rose to at least 19 victories throughout 20 of his 24 years. A two-time Co-Chair of the Saint Rose Capital Campaign, he was the 1996 Saint Rose Distinguished Alumni Award winner and is also a founder of the N.Y. State Basketball Coaches HOF. As a player, Beaury was a two-time All-Conference pick and still ranks among the school’s top-10 leaders in both assists (443) and steals (176).
