College of Saint Rose Athletics

The 1998-99 men's basketball squad finished 26-6 en route to garnering the men’s basketball program’s fifth consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearance. Saint Rose avenged a 75-73 overtime setback to Adelphi in the East Coast Conference (then known as the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference) title game by upending the Panthers 72-67 in double overtime in the Northeast Regional Championship tilt. The Golden Knights then dropped a triple overtime, 106-101, national quarterfinal thriller to Truman State (MO).
