Catherine Mulderry Mattice, a 1987 graduate, ran three seasons of cross country for Saint Rose as one of the program’s pioneers. As a sophomore, Catherine was the top Saint Rose finisher in eight of nine meets, won the NAC Championship race and was the first Saint Rose runner to qualify for the NAIA Nationals. Catherine qualified for repeat trips to Nationals as a junior and senior, thereby holding the unprecedented distinction of competing in three consecutive NAIA National meets.
