Mission Statement
The College of Saint Rose Athletics Compliance mission is to maintain the principles of institutional control in a manner consistent with the NCAA, Northeast-10 Conference, and the College’s rules and regulations.

Athletics Compliance Office Overview
The College of Saint Rose, a member of the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), is responsible for ensuring that coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff, former students, donors, boosters, and friends abide by NE-10 and NCAA regulations.

This information is a quick reference to the many NCAA rules, which may apply to you. The information is provided to heighten your awareness of your responsibilities, the accountability to which you are held, and the College’s expectations as they relate to those who care about Saint Rose and its intercollegiate athletics teams. Since all pertinent situations cannot be covered through this website, please feel free to call the Athletics Compliance Officer should you have any questions.

Saint Rose truly appreciates your interest and support, but as a reminder, any inappropriate contact or inadvertent action on your part can jeopardize the eligibility of a prospective student-athlete, an enrolled student-athlete, and the College. Saint Rose is proud to have your loyal support and continued interest in its athletics programs. As we strive for continued excellence, we must always seek the highest standard of ethical conduct. With your assistance and cooperation, we can accomplish these goals.

The Athletics Compliance Officer functions within the scope of Saint Rose to coordinate; monitor and verify athletics compliance with all NCAA and NE-10 requirements, and to educate the various constituencies of the College and the athletics community.

The Athletics Compliance Officer directs the College's compliance efforts and acts as a resource center concerning NCAA regulations and compliance issues. The primary function of the Athletics Compliance Officer is to provide educational programming and interpretive support to ensure that all individuals involved with the athletics program know the rules and fully understand the College’s compliance expectations. In addition, the Athletics Compliance Officer monitors and verifies the accurate and timely completion of NCAA required procedures. It is the responsibility of the Athletics Compliance Officer to ensure that the demands of the NCAA's and the College’s compliance efforts and expectations are properly supported.
