Arguably the finest leadoff hitter to ever don a Golden Knights uniform; Glen Barker was a two-time American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Region pick, an ECAC first-team All-Region selection and a New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) first-team All-Conference pick as a senior in 1993. He graduated as the College’s all-time leader in runs (209) and stolen bases (153), was tied for first in triples (11) and sixth in doubles (26). Glen is still listed as the all-time leader in stolen bases and triples, is sixth all-time in hits (197) and is third all-time in walks (110). He also owns four of the top-seven, including the top-two, single-season stolen base marks in school annals. Glen was part of the 1990 Saint Rose NAIA national qualifying team and went on to spend three years (1999-2001) in the major leagues with the Houston Astros. He was drafted in the 11th round by the Detroit Tigers in 1993.
