MEN'S RESULTS
WESTFIELD, MA–Claiming third place out of 38 teams at the Westfield State hosted James Earley Invitational was The College of Saint Rose women's team while the men's squad finished fifth out of 31 instiutions to also place in the top-five at Stanley Park earlier today.
Senior
Jordan Westcott ran through the 5k at a time of 18:58.26 to place fifth. Junior
Bianca Jordan posted a 13th place finish behind a time of 19:20.09 while sophomore
Amber Goodspeed took 26th place with a clocking of 19:56.67.
Junior
Kristen Harrington came along at 35th place for a 20:13.38 time. Coming in at 20:21.71 was freshman
Emily Baker with classmate
Alicia Bousa finishing 47th at 20:24.94. Senior
Samantha Capece rounded out the top-seven in a time of 21:44.13 for 123rd.
Sophomore
Jonathan Cahill led the men's team with a seventh place finish of 26:32.30 while classmate
Andrew Reifman-Packett crossed in at 26:47.97 for 12th place, both personal records. Senior
Tim Scudds placed 29th with a time of 27:12.04.
Crossing at 27:25.40 was junior
Eamonn Coughlin for 39th. Freshman
Benjamin Kapuscinski placed 61st with a clocking of 27:52.70 while classmate
Joseph Becker finished 81st with a time of 28:11.32. Sophomore
Krystopher Lotocky and junior
Ed Brown concluded the top seven with times of 28:30.29 and 28:45.02 for 93rd and 104th respectively.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights next compete during the
Northeast-10 Conference Championships on Saturday, October 27. The championships are being hosted by Saint Anselm in Manchester, NH at 10:00 am.
