CLINTON, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose cross country teams competed today at the Hamilton Tune-Up. The Golden Knight men placed fourth in the team standings, while the Saint Rose women claimed ninth overall.
Sophomores Matthew Waruch and Kyle Ostrander respectively took 16th and 21st after posting times of 16:39.01 and 17:01.2 in the men's 5K. Freshman Robert Deck (17:45.5) and Junior James Sullivan (17:55.5) had strong days as well to finish in 43rd and 47th.
In the women's 4K, sophomore Elizabeth Mattair placed 24th in 16:55.6, followed by sophomore Brooke Iannone, who crossed one place behind Mattair with a time of 16:59.5.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose next competes on Sunday, November 6 at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Adelphi in Farmingdale, N.Y.
