WESTFIELD, Mass.- The College of Saint Rose women's and men's cross country members competed as individuals today at the James Early Invitational, hosted by Westfield State.
Freshman
Stephanie James earned a top-60 finish in the women's 6000 meter with a time of 25:18.30. Junior
Brooke Iannone crossed in 26:46.57, while sophomore
Julia McCrea finished in 36:08.84
In the men's 8000m, junior
Matthew Waruch clocked a 27:59.03 to lead the Golden Knights men. Junior
Kyle Ostrander and freshman
Matthew Rogozinkski followed with respective marks of 28:37.81 and 31:48.27.
Looking forward, Saint Rose will return to action in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday, October 22 back in Westfield, Mass.
