Biography

GENERAL: Will once again compete in the freestyle events and could see time on the relays…Said his peers and teammates have had a great deal of influence on him…Would like to obtain a job that allows him to travel after college…Enjoys yoga and skateboarding in his spare time…Works as a lifeguard at Saint Rose and is an assistant coach for the Delmar Dolphins during the summer months.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the Fall ’09 and Spring ’10 semesters in recognition of academic excellence…Helped the Golden Knights to first place finishes in the 200 freestyle relay against Le Moyne (11/29/09), the NE-10 Invitational (12/5-6/10) and at Bentley (1/17/10) with times of 1:30.12, 1:29.86 and 1:31.53 respectively…Helped Saint Rose to a third place finish in the 200 free at the NE-10 Championships…Swam the anchor leg of the 400 IM in Golden Knights first place event finishes against Adelphi (1/23/10) and Skidmore (1/24/10), while helping the team to a second place finish at the NE-10 Invitational…Took individual first place honors twice on the season with a winning 100 free time of 49.98 at Bentley (1/17/10) and a 200 free performance of 1:50.44 versus Skidmore…Ranked second in individual events eight times on the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Swam five various events throughout the year…Was ninth in the 500 free with a season-best time of 23:18 at the NE-10 Championships (12/5-7/08)…Took third in the 100 and 200 freestyles with respective 52.20 and 1:57.66 performances versus Adelphi (1/24/09)…Went a season-best 1:57.12 in the 200 to finish third at Le Moyne (11/22/08)…Was second in the 500 free at that meet with a season-best 5:38.19 clocking…Touched first in the 1000 with a time of 12:14.15 versus Utica (11/8/08)…Named to NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in seven individual events throughout the season…Was a member of both the 200 free relay and 400 medley relay squads that finished 12th at the NE-10 Championships (12/2/07)…Swam the final leg on the 200 medley relay that took second at the Hartwick Relays (10/27/07) in 1:49.85...Touched second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:26.59 versus Saint Michael’s (12/31/07).

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the cross country and swimming teams at Notre Dame West Haven…Part of the 200 free relay team that qualified for the Connecticut State Championship Meet.
