GENERAL: One of the team’s top returnees…Older brother of sophomore Timothy…Will be counted upon to earn points in distance freestyle events and in the butterfly…Owns one individual school record and has been a part of three record setting relay teams…Swam club for Islip Aquatics…Listed World Ironman Champion Shannon Eckstein as the athlete he most admires…Said his mother is the person who has most influenced him…Has a sister Brittany who was an All-American field hockey player for SUNY Cortland…Was a member of the U.S. Lifesaving Team that competed in Australia last year…Plays the guitar and ukulele and writes his own music…Is an ocean lifeguard during the summer months.

AS A JUNIOR: Had a prolific campaign for the Golden Knights…Swam eight different events and had 21, top-three performances, including 13 first place efforts throughout the year…Won two races and finished second in two others at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (1/31/13-2/2/13)…Was furthermore named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions (10/30/12, 1/15/13, 1/22/13)…Reached NCAA provisional qualifying standards behind a winning time of 1:40.87 in the 200 free and a second place 4:39.32 performance in the 500 at the NE-10 Championships…Also hit the wall second in the 200 butterfly via a 1:54.95 clocking and was part of the winning 800 free relay quartet that swam a school record 7:00.05…Finished second in the 100 butterfly at the season ending Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/15/13-2/17/13) with a time of 1:55.36.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Backed up his standout freshman season with a phenomenal performance in his second season…Earned six All-Conference accolades…Part of the winning 200 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams at the NE-10 Championships (2/2/12-2/4/12)…Took second in the 500 and 1,650 freestyles and was also part of the 800 freestyle relay team at that meet…Won the 200 free in an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:42.88…Also broke his own school record with a 16:42.83 clocking in the 1,650 free…Additionally, helped to set a school record in the 400 medley relay as the Golden Knights won the event in a time of 3:29.93…Twice named NE-10 Swimming Athlete of the Week (11/3/11 and 1/10/12)…Had an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the NE-10 Championships with his second place time of 4:39.82 in the 500 freestyle…Won 21 individual events on the season…Had a win in all but one of the nine events he swam in throughout the year.

AS A FRESHMAN: Established himself as one of the top distance swimmers in the NE-10…Had 11 first place, five second place and four third place individual finishes…Named the NE-10 Rookie of the Week on three separate occasions…Shattered the Saint Rose record in the 1,650 free at the NE-10 Championships (2/4-6/11) with a winning time of 16:35.99, eclipsing the previous school standard by more than 11 seconds…Anchored the winning 800 free relay quartet that set a school standard with a time of 7:00.72…Won the 500 free in each of his five dual meet swims…Placed second at the NE-10 Championships in that event with a his 4:43.73 clocking…Was part of two record setting medley relays at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/1811-2/20/11)…He swam the third leg in both the 200 and 400 medley relays that the Golden Knights finished in 1:36.67 and 3:32.64 respectively.

HIGH SCHOOL: Garnered All-State, All-County, and All-League accolades at Sachem East.
