GENERAL: Expected to once again make a major contribution in the individual medley and breaststroke…Owns current school records in the 100 and 200-yard backstrokes and the 200 individual medley…Also a part of four Saint Rose record-setting relay teams…Enjoys watching college football in his spare time…Favorite food is pizza…Favorite movie is “300”…Best sports moment to date was qualifying for last year’s NCAA Championships…Listed Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt as the athlete he admires most.

AS A JUNIOR: Four-time Northeast-10 Conference All-League honoree…Earned first-team honors in the 800 free relay, and both the 200 and 400 IM…Garnered second-team accolades in the 200 butterfly…Set an NE-10 Championships record in the 400 IM, clocking in at 4:01.34…Swam the third leg for the Golden Knights’ record-setting 800 free relay team that went 7:00.72 at the NE-10 Championships (2/4-6/11)…Won the 200 IM at that meet with a time of 1:53.18 and was second in the 200 fly with a 1:55.07 performance…Anchored the 200 free relay quartet that set a school record with a 1:26.45 clocking at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/18-20/11)…Swam leadoff for the school record setting 200 and 400 medley relay squads that went 1:36.67 and 3:32.64 respectively…Set a school standard in the 200 back at the Metros with his time of 1:53.65…Earned NCAA provisional qualifying times in the 200 backstroke, 200 butterfly and the 200 and 400 IM during the season…Compiled six first-place finishes among the eight IM events he entered between the 200 and 400-yard distances while finishing second in the other two…Claimed two other individual event wins on the season, both in the 200 backstroke…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships held at C. T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH…Finished ninth among 26 qualifiers with a time of 4:00.23…Set a school record with a time of 51.76 in the 100 backstroke during the NCAA Meet…Also came in 18th out of 38 entrants in the 200 IM in Canton…Named the 2010 NE-10 Male Swimming Athlete of the year…First-Team All-Conference in both the 200 and 400 IM, while earning second team-honors in the 200 breaststroke…Was named Most Valuable Swimmer at the NE-10 Championships in a performance that included finishing first in the 200 IM with a season best time of 1:53.10…Also finished first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:02.04 and came in second in the 200 breaststroke with a mark of 2:10.05 at that meet…Touched first in 11 other individual events on the season…Was named the NE-10 Swimming Athlete of the Week (1/26/10) after bringing home three firsts and a second in meets against Saint Michael’s (1/23/10) and Bentley (1/24/10)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

AS A FRESHMAN: Earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships that were held at the University of Houston…Finished 13th among 33 qualifiers with a time of 4:00.16…Went 4:00.89 in a preliminary heat, which was less than a second off the school record…Set a school standard in the 200 IM with a 1:54.65 clocking that came with a sixth place finish at the Metropolitan Championships (2/20-22/08)…Swam 10 different events during the year…Had six first place performances…Recorded four, top-eight times at the NE-10 Championships (12/5-7/08)…Took second in the 200 IM with a season-best 1:58.68 clocking and swam a third place time of 4:14.18 in the 400 IM at that meet…He then went 4:03.15 to take fourth in the 400 IM and had another fourth place effort with a 2:09.31 clocking in the 200 breast at Metros…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: School record holder in the 200 IM and the 100 breaststroke…Garnered first and second-team All-Section II honors…Placed sixth at the New York State meet two straight years.
