College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Is expected to contribute in a variety of events throughout the season…Would like to become a math teacher following his undergraduate career at Saint Rose…Enjoys playing video games and weightlifting in his spare time…Works as a lifeguard during the summer months…Said qualifying for the sectional meet in high school was his best sports moment…Comes out of the Viking Aquatic Club.

AS A JUNIOR: Displayed his versatility by swimming 11 different individual events throughout the year…Claimed six top-five finishes on the season…Had two fifth place performances against Skidmore (11/13/10) in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100 freestyle with times of 1:14.82 and 1:00.64 respectively…Had a season best time of 1:06.03 in the 100 breaststroke at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2/4-6/11)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to the Metropolitan Conference Honorable Mention All-Academic Team…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the Fall ’09 and Spring ’10 semesters…Pulled in one first place finish on the year, beating the rest of the pack in the 1,000 freestyle against Skidmore (1/24/10) with a time of 11:18.66…Swam the breaststroke leg of the 200 medley relay at the Hartwick Relays (10/17/10), helping the Golden Knights win that event behind a season-best time of 1:40.69.

AS A FRESHMAN: Swam eight different events throughout the year…Finished fourth with a season best time of 2:37.22 in the 200 breaststroke at Le Moyne (11/22/08)…Was also fourth in the 100 breast with a season-best 1:11.86 performance and took third in the 400 IM with a 5:36.20 clocking at that meet as well…Swam a season-best, fifth place time of 2:26.52 in the 200 IM during a double-dual with Southern Connecticut State and Queens…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at New Paltz as a member of the cross country, track & field and swimming & diving teams…Honor Roll student.
