GENERAL: Expected to contribute in the butterfly and distance freestyle events…Said U.S. Olympian Peter Vanderkaay is the athlete he most admires…Listed his parents as the people who have had the greatest influence on him…His father is a former basketball player at Clarkson University…Aspires to work at CPA firm upon graduation…Works as a lifeguard back home during the summer.

AS A JUNIOR: Helped to provide depth in a variety of events for Saint Rose…Earned six, top-three finishes on the season…Won the 1,000-yard freestyle versus Saint Michael’s (1/14/12) in a time of 11:01.67…Also finished second in the 100 butterfly against the Purple Knights, clocking in at 59.99…Notched a career-best time in the 100 fly at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2/2-4/12) going off in a time of 57.26 in the preliminaries, earning him a berth in the evening session…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rollfor both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Had five second and two third-place finishes on the season…Earned a pair second place finishes against Utica (11/6/10) in the 200 and 500freestyles with times of 2:01.71 and 5:31.89 respectively…Came up with a pair of season bests against Adelphi (1/22/11) by finishing the 500 freestyle in 5:19.76 and hitting the wall in 11:01.36 in the 1,000 free…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence…Was additionally chosen to the NE-10 Academic All-Conference Team for the winter season for displaying superior academic and athletic credentials.

AS A FRESHMAN: Pulled down a first, a second and three third-place finishes on the season…Took first place in the 500 free against Utica (11/17/09) with a time of 5:34.57…Finished second in the 200 butterfly in a dual meet victory against Skidmore (1/24/10) behind a 2:12.24 clocking.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead the Panthers to the 2009 Finger Lakes League Championship…Touched first in both the 200 and 500 freestyles at that meet…Was furthermore part of the 200 medley and 400 free relay teams…Garnered first-team All-League accolades as both a junior and senior…Two-time team MVP and captain…Voted “Most Dedicated” as a sophomore…Also a member of the golf team.
