GENERAL: Team co-captain…Senior academically…Made a significant impact in his first season of competition…Specializes in the 3,000 and 5,000-meter runs for the Saint Rose track and field team…Listed New York Yankees catcher Jorge Posada as the athlete he admires most…Said his father is someone who has had a great deal of influence on him throughout his lifetime…Plays the bagpipes…Would like to get a master’s degree and teach business at the high school level following graduation…Best sports moment was competing in the NYS Cross Country meet throughout all four years of high school…Has a brother, Ryan, who ran cross country for SUNY Canton.

AS A FRESHMAN: Was among the top-three Saint Rose finishers at every meet…Ran a personal-best 8k time of 26:57.8 to finish 24th at the Northeat-10 Conference Championship (10/25/08)…Was the club’s top runner at the NCAA East Regional (11/9/08) after completing the 10k layout in 33:21.6 to finish 28th overall…Wound up sixth in a dual meet at Le Moyne (10/11/08) in a time of 29:16…Took eighth in the 5k portion of the Williams Purple Valley Classic (9/27/09) behind a 17:15 clocking…Was 11th at the Shacklette Invitational (9/13/08) that was hosted by Saint Anselm in a time of 28:51.7…Named NE-10 Freshman of the Week on one occasion (10/6/08).

HIGH SCHOOL: Team captain of the cross country and track and field teams at Scotia-Glenville…Garnered All-State and All-American accolades in cross country…Also picked up All-Section II honors…Junior Olympics participant.
