GENERAL: Senior academically…Rejoins the squad after missing the entire 2008 campaign…Made great strides in his rookie season despite being a relative newcomer to the sport…Is expected to have an impact throughout the year… School record holder in the 600-meter run (1:25.74)…Said his parents are the people who have had the most influence on him…Has an uncle, Dave Herman, who ran track at the University of Florida.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Saw action in two events…Finished 82nd at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship (10/21/07) with a season-best 8k time of 29:37…Was also among the top-five Saint Rose runners at the NCAA Northeast Regional (11/3/07) after covering the 10k course in 37:49.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Appeared in six of eight events…Was the third finisher for the Golden Knights five times throughout the season…Finished 10th at the second annual Golden Knights Joust (10/6/06) in a time of 29:32…Ran a personal-best 8k time of 29:23 to take 75th at the NE-10 Championship (10/22/06)…Was 15th versus Union and Hamilton (9/9/06) after crossing the line in 30:32…Closed out the season with an 82nd place showing at the NCAA Northeast Regional (11/5/06) with a 10k time of 36:12.

HIGH SCHOOL: Team captain…Member of class “A” section II championship team at Colonie Central…Also lettered in track and field and lacrosse…Two-time winner of the Cleary Award in cross country…Part of school record 4x800 and distant medley relay teams…Honored as most outstanding middle distance runner…Played in the exceptional senior all-star game in lacrosse.
