College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Transferred from Dowling College three years ago…Senior academically, but only third year of participating in track and field…Favorite movie is “Old School”…Said his family has influenced him the most throughout his lifetime…Aspires to become a CPA.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed primarily in outdoor events on the season…Finished second in the 5,000 meters at the Springfield Invitational (4/23/11) with a time of 15:43.60…Placed fourth in the 10,000 meters at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (5/6-7/11), clocking in at 32:45.87…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Set Saint Rose record in the two-mile run, posting a time of 9:49.61 at the George Davis Invitational (4/10/10)…Recorded two, top-five finishes throughout the outdoor season, placing second in the 5000m at the Springfield College Invitational (4/17/10) and finishing fourth in the 3000m steeplechase at the Jim Sheehan Memorial (4/3/10) with times of 15:44.07 and 10:05.43 respectively…Best finish on the indoor season was a third place entry in the 5000m at the Tartan Invitational (2/6/10) where he ran a 16:26.46…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring ’10 semester in recognition of academic excellence.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer in addition to running cross country and track at West Islip…All-League, All-Division and MVP as a member of the cross country squad…Also an All-League performer for the track team…Owns the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and is part of the school record setting 4x1600 relay squad.
