Biography

GENERAL: Has a brother, Justin, who ran cross country for Saint Rose…Listed his mother as the person who has had the most influence on him throughout his lifetime…Enjoys reading and watching movies…Said his brother is the athlete he most admires…Aspires to become a financial adviser.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Captured eighth place and a personal-best in the high jump (1.78m) at the Springfield Invite (4/19/14)…Registered his personal-best in the pole vault (3.75m) at the Capital District Classic (4/26/14), and again at Oneonta (5/10/14)…Captured a Saint Rose record of 5676 points in the decathlon at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships (2/22/14). 

AS A SOPHOMORE: Only competed during the indoor season…Posted season-bests in both the 60 meter hurdles, 8.80 seconds, and long jump, 6.01 meters, at the Army Crowell Open (1/5/13) to register 17th and 13 place finishes respectively…Stopped the clock at 8.81 for 21st place at the Great Dane Classic (1/18/13)…Finished fifth in the high jump at the Tufts Stampede (2/2/13) with a leap of 1.88 meters…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Was a very active member of both the indoor and outdoor teams, most notably in the long jump…Posted a season-best jump of 6.23 meters for 14th place at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships (5/4-5/12)…Also placed ninth in the pole vault at the conference championships with a 3.35 meters vault and was eighth in the 110 meter hurdles a time of 16.05…Was part of the fifth place 4x100m relay team that finished at 42.89…During the NE-10 indoor championships (2/18/12), he finished ninth in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.34 and also finished 15th in the long jump behind a distance of 5.64 meters...Was the third leg on the first place 4x100 relay team that broke the tape in 43.30 at the Dick Shea Open (3/31/12)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Captained the indoor and outdoor track teams at Albany High School his junior and senior seasons…Earned first-team all-area in the 110 hurdles and second-team in the long jump…Said his best sports moment to date was participating in his first national meet as a high school junior.
