GENERAL: Co-Captain…Currently sits in the top-five all-time at Saint Rose for three throwing events…Listed his parents as the people who have had the greatest influence on him…Enjoys playing football and soccer in his spare time…Plays guitar, bass and keyboards…Said Jim Thome is the athlete he admires most…Hopes to become a New York State Trooper upon his graduation from Saint Rose…Works in the Saugerties Parks and Recreation Department during the summer…Said his best sports moment was being named captain by his peers.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Season-best weight throw of 13.92 meters came at the Great Dane Classic (1/18/13) for 18th place…Placed 12th at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships (2/16/13) behind a weight throw of 13.57 meters…Posted a 10.90 meter shot put distance at the Terrier Invite (1/26/13) for 45th place…Produced a hammer throw of 41.20 meters at the Capital District Classic (4/27/13) to place eighth…Also finished sixth at the same meet in the discus throw that landed for 37.15 meters…Followed up in the same event at the NE-10 Outdoor Championships (5/3/13) for eighth place on a 38.68 meter throw…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor roll for recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Took part in the weight throw and the shot put during the indoor campaign followed by the hammer and discuss throws in the outdoor season…Picked up a season-best 12.37 meter weight throw at the Tufts Stampede (2/4/12)…Finished 22nd on a 10.24 meter shot put at the Yale Invitational (1/14/12)…A 35.26 meter hammer throw at the Dick Shea Open (3/31/12) was a season-best…Finished in 10th place at the NE-10 Outdoor Championships (5/4-5/12) in the discus throw after a 36.56 meter toss…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Earned points as a  thrower throughout the season…Had his best indoor shot put performance at the MIT Invitational (1/29/11) with a toss of 10.33 meters (33’ 10.75”)…Twice placed in the top-10 during the outdoor season…Best meet was at the Capital District Classic (4/30/11) at Rensselaer where he finished eighth in the shot put and ninth in the hammer throw with tosses of 10.11 meters (33’ 1.50”) and 33.83 meters (110’ 9”) respectively…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Saugerties Hall of Fame scholarship for senior athletes…Named to the MHAL All-Academic Team in track all four years at Saugerties and in football his junior and senior seasons…Placed fourth in the discus in the section IX State Qualifiers and placed fifth in the same event in the 2010 Mid Hudson Athletic League Championships…Also played football for the Sawyers.
