Biography

GENERAL: Mentioned that Steve Prefontaine is the athlete he most admires…Said his high school track coach Shane Regan and former teammates Devinn Askew and Mike Pressler have had the most influence on him throughout his lifetime…Said his best sports moment to date was winning the OCIAA 110 high hurdle title by .03 as well as the 4x400m relay at the NYS track meet when he brought the team from sixth place to first following a 48.5 split…Aspires to attend medical school following his graduation from Saint Rose.

AS A JUNIOR: Turned in yet another successful season for Saint Rose…Named to the USTFCCA All-East Region squad…Set a school-record in the 110 meter hurdles at the Oneonta State May Meet (5/12/12) with a 14.94 clocking…Finished first in the same event at the Springfield Invitational (4/21/12) after posting a time of 15.46…Finished inside the top-five all six times he ran the 110 meter hurdles…Also at Springfield, he turned in a first place, 56.81 time the 400 meter hurdles…Also finished first in the 400 meter hurdles at the Oneonta State May Meet (5/12/12) on a 55.47 clocking…Took home the bronze medal in the 400 meter hurdles at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships after running a 54.62…Ran the lead leg in 4x400 relay team that finished fifth at the NE-10 Championships with a 3:23.25 clocking.  Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Enjoyed a stellar second season with the Golden Knights…Finished fourth at the season opening Army Carleton Crowell Invitational (1/8/11) in the 200 meters with a time of 23.09…Had an outstanding outdoor season…Earned nine, top-5 finishes out of 10 individual events that he ran…Set a school record and ran an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400 meters with a 53.58 clocking at the Oneonta May Meet (5/14/11)…Twice claimed first place in the 110 meter hurdles, at the Springfield Invitational (4/23/11) and at the Oneonta May Meet with times of 15.68 and 15.19 respectively…Made it a dual win at the Springfield Invitational where he took the 400 meter hurdles with his time of 55.97…Also was a key part of the Golden Knights fourth place finish in the 4x100 relay at the NE-10 Championships (5/6-7/11) where the squad clocked in at 43.87…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.

AS A FRESHMAN: Earned first-team All-Conference accoladesm in 4x400 relay outdoors after helping the team run a meet record 3:15.99 at the NE-10 Championships (5/1/10)…Was second-team All-Conference in the 400-meter hurdles with a school-record 54.11 clocking…Twice named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (4/6/10 & 5/11/10)…Finished first in the 400m hurdles three times on the season; at the Rensselaer Early Outdoor Invitational (3/27/10), the Jim Sheehan Invitational (4/3/10) and the Springfield College Invitational (4/17/10)…Ran the leadoff leg in the 4x400 indoor relay throughout the season for the Golden Knights on a squad that finished first or second in four of six meets, including a school record 3:19.85 at the NE-10 Indoor Championships (2/18/10)…Had three, top-five finishes throughout the indoor campaign…Placed third twice at the Williams Invitational (1/16/10) as he ran season bests in the 55m and 55m hurdles with times of 6.78 and 8.12 respectively…Started off his collegiate career with a fifth place finish in the triple jump at the Yale Invitational (1/10/10) with a distance of 12.23 meters (40’ 1.50”).

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in indoor track for Shane Reagan and outdoors for Ronald Introini…Team captain during both his junior and senior years…Also lettered in football and was named captain his senior season…Record holder in 110 high hurdles, 200 Intermediate hurdles, in addition to the 4x100 and 4x400 relays…Earned Coaches Award for football…Earned section IX All-Star honors in football…Named school’s most outstanding track athlete…Middletown Times Herald Record first-team All-Star in both 2008 and 2009…OCIAA 110 high hurdles and 400 Intermediate hurdles champion…Section IX 400 hurdles champion…NYSPHSAA state track meet silver medalist…Part of fourth place 4x400 relay at state championship track meet.
