College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Co-Captain…Looked upon as a leader by his peers…Was a co-captain of the Saint Rose cross country team this past fall…High school teammate of current team member Macky Lloyd…Works for the Tri-City ValleyCats minor league baseball team during the summer months…Said his best sports moment was winning the 4x800m relay at Union College’s Eddy Meet.

AS A JUNIOR: Part of the 4x400m relay that finished 10th at the Army Crowell Open with a time of 3:40.54 (1/7/12)…Also ran with the “A” 4x800 relay team twice…Best place finish came at the Yale Invitational (1/14/12) with a 8:38.93 seventh place finish followed by an eighth place time of 8:32.22 at the Tufts Stampede (2/4/12)…Individually ran in both 800m and 1000m…Finished 10th at the Northeast-10 Conference Indoor Championships (2/18/12) with a time of 2:03.17 in the 800 meters…Also ran the distance medley relay at the NE-10 championships, finishing ninth at 11:21.46…Best finish in the 1,000m came at the Boston Terrier Invitational (1/28/12), running a 2:46.89 for 42nd place…Finished 17th in 1,500 meters during the outdoor season at the Capital District Classic (4/28/12) behind a time of 4:18.91…Part of the eighth place, 8:28.55 4x800 relay team at the NE-10 outdoor championships (5/4-5/12).  Named to the NE-10 Commissioners Honor Roll for both fall and spring semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in three different middle-distance disciplines…Had his best finish in his only running of the 1,000 meters when he finished sixth with a time of 2:42.66 at the MIT Invitational (1/29/11)..Earned second-team All-League honors in the 4x800 relay at the NE-10 Outdoor Championships (5/6-7/11)…Ran the first sub-two minute time of his career in the 800 meters with a 1:59.73 performance at the Springfield Invitational (4/23/11)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

AS A FRESHMAN: Earned second-team All-Conference honors and helped set the school record in the 4x800 relay at the NE-10 Outdoor Championships (5/1/10) where the Golden Knights crossed the line in 7:47.37…Turned in his outdoor season best time in the 800m at the NE-10 Championships as well, finishing in 2:01.99…Saw the majority of his action for the indoor season in the mile, posting a season best time of 4:40.92 at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/10) to finish 14th…Placed 11th at the Tartan Invitational (2/6/10) in the 800m, clocking in at 2:05.97…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played volleyball in addition to running cross country and track at Voorheesville…Named the squad’s Most Valuable Runner as a senior…Owns seven school records in outdoor track…Part of school record setting relay teams in the 4x100, 4x200, 4x800, sprint medley and distance medley…Also established school record times at the 200 and 400-meter distances…National Honor Society student.
