Last Meeting (11/21/21 at Saint Rose): The College of Saint Rose prevailed on penalty kicks after the two sides played to a 1-1 draw in last year's NCAA Championship Tournament East Region Semifinal in Albany. Senior midfielder Janina Mueller struck for the Golden Knights in the opening three minutes of the second half, before senior forward Laurel Erick tied it with four minutes left in regulation.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose rebounded from an early 1-0 deficit to upend host Nyack College 4-2 on Wednesday in Secaucus, N.J. Four individuals figured in the scoring for the Golden Knights, including junior midfielder Lauren Amerena who set up two of the strikes. Junior back Sanna Rein, sophomore forward Mia Klammer, and Mueller found the back of the net, while a trio of keepers in freshmen Pia Bozic and Peyton DeRouen, and senior Taylor Gray registered a pair of saves collectively.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (2-0): The Golden Knights are ranked #2 in the United Soccer Coaches National Preseason Poll…They are also favored to successfully defend their 2021 Northeast-10 Conference Championship…Five different players have each scored one goal…Junior midfielder Caylee Boorse was named to the NE10 weekly honor roll Monday after she scored the game-winner in last Saturday's 2-1 season-opening win at Daemen.
 
Scouting Jefferson (1-1): The Rams are the unanimous favorite in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference preseason poll…They have won three consecutive league titles…Jefferson is coming off last Saturday's 6-1 home win versus Millersville, which came on the heels of a 4-1 setback at #16 West Chester…Erick was named the CACC Co-Player of the Week on Monday after she scored two goals and set up another at Millersville…Her five points pace the squad thus far…Freshman midfielder Niki Dedes has two goals as well…Meanwhile, junior Jaclyn Martino and sophomore Liv Riddel have split time between the posts…They own a combined .737 save percentage.
 
Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from nine countries including; Slovenia, France, Finland, Germany, Denmark, England, Canada, and The Bahamas, in addition to the United States.
 
Up Next: The Golden Knights have a quick turnaround with Monday's 2:00 pm meeting at Caldwell University in New Jersey. Jefferson visits Pace University in Pleasantville on Wednesday.
