ALBANY, N.Y.-
Mia Klammer,
Elina Seppala, and
Sanna Rein of The College of Saint Rose women's soccer team have each earned All-America honors from both the Division II Conference Commisioners Association (D2CCA) and the United Soccer Coaches Association.
Klammer was named First-Team All-America from both organizations, marking the third consecutive season in which she has received All-America accolades. Klammer earned the honor after finishing first in NCAA Division II with 53 points. She was voted the D2CCA National Player of the Year after she was named both the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year and East Region Player of the Year. She led the region with 18 goals and 17 assists.
Seppala was named second All-America after finishing second and third in the NE10, respectively, with 10 assists and nine goals this season. Her assist total tied her for 13th-best in the country.
Rein earned third team honors for the second fall in a row. She captained the Saint Rose defense to 14 shutouts this season, which is the eighth-highest team mark across DII. Additionally, she has helped the Golden Knights list 10th nationally with a mere 0.524 goals-against average.
The Golden Knights finish the fall with a historic unbeaten record of 20-0-2, as this was the first team in Saint Rose program history to register at least 20 wins without a defeat.
