Golden Knights Are Aiming To Extend Their Season-Long Unbeaten Streak to Eight Matches

Last Meeting (10/20/21 at Le Moyne): Six players for The College of Saint Rose figured in the scoring column as the Golden Knights upended Le Moyne 4-1 in Syracuse. Junior forward Kaelyn Britt, junior midfielder Lauren Amerena, junior back Sanna Rein and Tatiana Leggiero accounted for the four strikes. The Golden Knights got off to a quick start as Britt and Amerena scored in the opening 14 minutes. The Dolphins cut their deficit in half in the opening two minutes of the second period, but Leggiero made it 3-1 at the 50:21 mark and Rein converted a penalty kick with 79:29 elapsed.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose played to its second consecutive scoreless tie Saturday at Northeast-10 Conference rival Southern Connecticut State. The Golden Knights stepped up the pressure throughout the final 6:30 when they generated four shots-on-target on the way to finishing with a 16-7 shot advantage.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (5-0-2/1-0-2 NE10): Saint Rose is ranked #11 in this week's United Soccer Coaches National Poll…The Golden Knights are tied for 19th in the country with an overall 0.857 winning percentage…They are unbeaten through seven matches for the fourth time in the past five years…Saint Rose has outscored its seven opponents 14-4 and nine different players have found the back of the net thus far…The Golden Knights stand third in the NE10 with a 0.57 team goals-against-average…Britt is tied for the league lead with four goals…Sophomore forward Mia Klammer is tied for third with three assists, while freshman keeper Pia Bozic is third with a 0.49 GAA and a .880 save percentage.
 
Scouting Le Moyne (2-3-1/0-3-0 NE10): The Dolphins have dropped three straight after opening the year 2-0-1…They arrive in the Capital Region off of Saturday's 3-1 setback at Saint Anselm in Manchester, N.H.…Sophomore back Hildur Unnarsdóttir leads the squad with a pair of goals and an assist…Four others have accounted for one goal apiece…Senior Allison Moreau has played all 540 minutes between the posts…She owns a 1.67 GAA and a 0.706 save percentage.
 
Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from nine countries including; Slovenia, France, Finland, Germany, Denmark, England, Canada, and The Bahamas, in addition to the United States.
 
Up Next: Both sides have conference road matches Saturday. The Golden Knights travel to Waltham, Mass. to face Bentley while the Dolphins head to Colchester, Vt. to take on Saint Michael's.
