Last Meeting (11/11/21 at Saint Rose): The College of Saint Rose scored twice and never looked back on the way to a 5-0 Northeast-10 Conference Championship Semifinal encounter victory. Five different players accounted for the five goals as the Golden Knights manufactured a 19-4 shot advantage.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose scored the lone goal it needed late in the first half and added two more throughout the game's final 12 minutes to upend visiting NE10 rival Assumption 3-0 on Tuesday night. Junior midfielders Caylee Boorse and Kelly Coster, and junior back Sanna Rein scored the three Golden Knights goals. Meanwhile, junior midfielder Jen Bartlett, freshman forward Madelyn Wania, and sophomore back Alexandra Getfield each collected an assist. Freshman keeper Piz Bozic recorded both of her saves in the second half.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (8-0-2/4-0-2 NE10): Saint Rose is ranked #8 in the most recent United Soccer Coaches National Poll…The Golden Knights come into today tied (UNC Pembroke) for eighth in the country with an overall 0.900 winning percentage…Six of their 10 contests have been on the road and they are 4-0 at home…Saint Rose has outscored its 10 foes 22-6, including 13-2 in the first half, and has held an opponent to one goal or fewer throughout nine of its 10 matches…The Golden Knights have also generated 73 corner kicks while yielding 32…They are sixth in the country with 7.30 corners per game…Twelve different players have found the back of the net…Saint Rose stands third in the NE10 with a 0.60 team goals-against-average and is second with 2.20 goals per game…Senior forward Kaelyn Britt is tied for second in the league with four goals…Sophomore forward Mia Klammer is tied for fourth with three assists, while Bozic paces the conference with a 0.46 GAA and is second behind a 0.871 save percentage…Bozic and senior midfielder Janina Mueller were both named to the NE10 weekly honor roll yesterday…Head coach Laurie Darling Gutheil is three shy of her 400th career win.
 
Scouting Saint Anselm (6-3-1/2-3-1 NE10): The Hawks are coming off Tuesday's 1-1 deadlock with visiting Bentley…They are now unbeaten (2-1-1) in three of their last four outings…Saint Anselm stands third in the NE10, behind Saint Rose, in scoring offense with 1.90 goals per game…Sophomore forward Josie Pecor and junior forward Olivia Gotobed are the team's top scoring threats with 11 and nine points respectively…The former has four goals and three assists, while Gotobed has three strikes and a like number of helpers to her credit…Freshman Emma Hudson has played all but 13 of the team's 900 minutes between the posts…She boasts an 0.803 save percentage and a 1.22 GAA.
 
Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from nine countries including; Slovenia, France, Finland, Germany, Denmark, England, Canada, and The Bahamas, in addition to the United States.
 
Up Next: Both sides have upcoming byes and thus are off until next Saturday when the Golden Knights travel to Manchester to face a dangerous Southern New Hampshire squad at 4:00 pm. The Penmen are receiving votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches National Poll. Meanwhile, the Hawks are scheduled to host American International at 3:00 pm that day.
