The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Stonehill today for a

Last Meeting (10/20/12): Saint Rose scored a goal early in the first half that stood up en route to a 2-0 victory at Stonehill. In the process, the win marked the 250th career victory for head coach 
Laurie Darling Gutheil, one of only 10 active NCAA Division II coaches to have reached that milestone. Senior forward 
Carmelina Puopolo set up a strike and also scored to pace Saint Rose. Sophomore midfielder 
Amanda Vasquez provided the game-winner.
Scouting #3 Saint Rose (13-0-2/9-0-2 NE-10): Saint Rose puts forth 19.5 shots per-game while yielding just 6.5 to opponents. The Golden Knights have manufactored 119 corner kicks and allowed only 26. Senior goalkeeper 
Jessica Gerski has made 27 saves for a 0.964 save percentage. She is second in the country and first in the NE-10 with a 0.08 goals-against-average. Senior midfielder 
Sydney Bond is fourth in the league in goals (9) and fifth in points (20). Meanwhile, sophomore forward 
Kristin Carr, sophomore forward 
Jennifer Busk, and freshman forward  
Sammy Blizzard all have five goals.
Scouting Stonehill (5-8-2/5-5-1 NE-10): The Skyhawks are coming off of back-to-back 2-1 overtime victories. Junior forwards Megan Sullivan and Renee Trudeau were responsible for the game-winners. Sullivan's came last Saturday versus Southern Connecticut State while Trudeau scored against Bentley on Tuesday. Sullivan leads the team with four goals and eight points. Meanwhile, Trudeau has scored two goals in just three games played as Tuesday was her first appearance since Saturday, September 7. Senior goalkeeper Amy Wheaton has 80 saves and a 0.792 save percentage.
Faculty and Parent Appreciation Day: Prior to the start of today's match, The College of Saint Rose women's soccer team would like to recognize both their parents and their faculty members with a brief ceremony.
