The Plot: The College of Saint Rose will honor its seniors prior to hosting Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 Conference match at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex this afternoon.

Last Meeting (9/26/12): Saint Rose played to a 1-1 tie at Saint Anselm as the Golden Knights manufactured a 19-10 edge in shots and a 13-4 differential in shots-on-target. Saint Anselm took a 1-0 lead with 54:34 gone by on a strike from senior midfielder Siobhan Flaherty. Senior midfielder Sydney Bond then tied the game 1-1 when she converted a feed from senior forward Carmelina Puopolo 14 minutes later. Senior goalkeeper Jessica Gerski recorded three saves while junior Gabriella Primera was forced to turn aside 11 shots for the Hawks.

Scouting #3 Saint Rose (9-0-1/6-0-1 NE-10): In front of 1,118 fans on Tuesday evening, the Golden Knights and host #6 American International played to a scoreless draw. Gerski made a season-high nine saves to preserve her fourth shutout of the year. Bond is seventh in the league with 14 points via six goals and two assists. The backline of juniors Jourdan Thompson and La'Quilla Upton, and sophomore Nicole Shively, along with Gerski, have directed a defense that has yet to allow a goal this autumn. In fact, Saint Rose and Grand Valley State's (MI) women's squad are the only two NCAA teams, men or women at any level, that have not surrendered a score in 2013.

Senior Day: Prior to the start of today's match, Saint Rose will honor Sydney Bond, Jessica Gerski, Carmelina Puopolo, Allison Schmidt, Niki Smith, Laura Taylor, and La'Quilla Upton with a brief ceremony.

Scouting Saint Anselm (5-4-1/4-3 NE-10): The Hawks are coming off of Tuesday's 1-0 overtime win against visiting Merrimack. Flaherty scored her first goal of the season in the 99th minute. Primera and freshman goalkeeper Cassie Quattropani have nearly split time in goal to combine for a 0.87 goals-against-average and four shutouts. Freshman midfielder Kendra Bonczar owns a team-best three goals on just eights shots.

Up Next: Saint Rose steps out of conference play with a 3:00 pm meeting at Mercy in Dobbs Ferry, NY on Monday. Meanwhile, Saint Anselm travels to Rindge, NH on Wednedsay for a 4:00 pm conference match at Franklin Pierce.
