LANTANA, FL – The College of Saint Rose pushed across the winning run on an error in the 10th inning after allowing a 7-2 lead to vanish in an 8-7 victory against Southern New Hampshire at the Palm Beach Challenge today. The Golden Knights then rallied from a 4-0 deficit only fall 8-6, in 12 innings later in the day to American International.

Garret Keenan singled and senior first baseman
Grant Smith reached on an error that allowed Price to come across with the winning run against Southern New Hampshire.
Keenan finished 3-for-6 with a pair of RBI and freshman left fielder
Brian Maynard went 2-for-5 with an RBI double in the first and a base hit in the ninth. Senior right-hander
Doug Dulin allowed two earned runs on four hits and fanned eight throughout 5.2 innings of work.
In today's game with American International, the Golden Knights (5-5) rallied from 4-0 and 6-5 deficits before the Yellow Jackets scored twice in the 12th for the victory.
Maynard continued his outstanding day by going 3-for-5 with a three run double to highlight a four run, sixth inning for Saint Rose. Junior
Daniel Marshall finished 3-for-6 with an RBI and two runs scored, while sophomore infielder
Carlos Fermin wound up 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose is scheduled to close out its stay at the Palm Beach Challenge tomorrow with a 9:30 am game versus Philadelphia University. Southern New Hampshire is scheduled to visit AIC for a 3:30 pm date next Thursday in Springfield. Meanwhile, the Yellow Jackets also have a 3:30 pm home date with Post University on Wednesday.
