GENERAL: Will be counted upon to help anchor the staff near the top of the rotation…Listed Francisco Rodriguez as the athlete he admires the most…Said his grandfather is the person who has had the most influence on him during his lifetime…Favorite movie is “The Sandlot”…His mother teaches at NE-10 rival Pace University…Mentioned that his best sports moment to date was throwing a no-hitter in an U-16 tournament.

AS A JUNIOR: Established himself as a frontline starter…Went 4-3 and worked a team-leading 62.2 innings…Finished 16th in the nation and ninth in the NE-10 with a 2.01 ERA…The latter mark represents the sixth best single-season ERA in school annals (NCAA era)…Tied for eighth in the conference with 67 strikeouts and was 16th behind a .228 opponents batting average…Gave up only three earned runs throughout his last three starts of the season…Tossed a complete game to pick up a 2-1 win in the second half of a doubleheader at Bentley (5/1/10)…Fanned nine, walked one and scattered eight singles…Whiffed a season-high 10 batters and walked only one throughout 6.1 innings in a 9-6 victory versus Bloomfield (3/6/10)…Named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on two occasions (4/5/10 and 4/26/10)…Was also named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall ’09 semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Made two starts and eight appearances in relief…Went 0-2 with a 3.68 ERA throughout 22.0 innings of work…Held opposing hitters to a .228 batting average…Allowed no more than two hits in each of his last five appearances…Tossed 3.0 innings of one-hit ball out of the bullpen to help preserve a 3-2 victory at Pace (3/27/09).

AS A FRESHMAN: Made 10 appearances in relief…Registered 19 strikeouts and nine walks during 16.1 innings of work…Picked up the save in the second half of a twin-bill versus Southern New Hampshire (3/22/08)…Tossed 1.2 innings of no-hit ball and fanned three in the opener of a doubleheader at Saint Leo (3/5/08).

HIGH SCHOOL: Garnered All-League honorable mention All-County accolades as a junior at Ossining…National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member…Earned Student of Distinction Award…Played baseball for Lou Frederico.
