TROY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose men's and women's track & field teams each took ninth place in the respective team standings at the RPI Friday Night Under the Lights Meet.
Sara Fitzgerald highlighted the evening for the Saint Rose women with a second place finish in the 400-meter (1:02.74). Fitzgerald also finished 10th in the 200-meter dash (27.98 seconds).
Reese Casinelli took third in the 100m sprint with a time of 11.04 seconds, while
Keenan Wood finished fourth and 10th, respectively, in the triple jump (12.82 meters) and long jump (6.02 meters).
Jalen George earned fifth in the hammer throw (38.17m) and eighth in the shot put (11.93m).Â
Matthew Waruch (800m),
Dionis Best (javelin) and
Daniel Miller (discus) each claimed seventh place results.
Brooke Iannone was eighth in the 1500m (5:40.85) and ninth in the 400m hurdles (1:25.91), while
Zoe Harris listed ninth in the 100m (13.48 seconds).
Emma Crahan also finished ninth in the shot put (9.73m).
The Golden Knights are scheduled to next run on Saturday, April 20 at the Trinity Invitational.
