TROY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose claimed victories in four different events in today's Capital District Classic at RPI.
Sophomore
Lauren Reed took first place in both the long jump and triple jump with respective marks of 5.53 and 11.15 meters.
In the lanes, sophomore
Jaelyn Howard crossed the line first in the 400-meters in 1:00.35, while freshman
Zoe Harris won the 200m with a time of 26.37 seconds. Harris also rounded out the day with a fourth place finish in the 100m dash (13.12).
Freshman
Shemar Delphin clocked 11.04 and 22.91 to cross third and fourth, respectively, in the men's 100m and 200m sprints.
Sophomore
Mason Davis secured a pair of strong finishes in the field, taking second in the discus (42.64m) and third in the shot put (13.40m).
Saint Rose claimed sixth overall in the women's standings, while the Golden Knight men took the seventh spot in the team scoring.Â
Looking forward, the Golden Knights next compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Outdoor Championships, with events taking place Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 on the campus of host Stonehill in North Easton, Mass.
