MANSFIELD, Mass.-
Chinyere Mgbemena and The College of Saint Rose women's 200-yard medley relay were each named Northeast-10 Conference weekly award winners for the period ending Sunday, December 10, 2023.
Mgbemena was named NE10 Rookie of the Week after touching first in the 50-yard freestyle and 50-yard breaststroke on Friday, as she registered respective times of 26.38 and 33.05 seconds versus Mount Saint Mary. She was also a member of victorious 200 medley and 500 freestyle relays for Saint Rose
The Golden Knights squad of Mia Stroud,
Natalie Herl,
Leana Padunina, and Mgbemena earned the NE10 Relay of the Week award after working together to win the 200 medley relay in 1:58.78.
