Last Time Out: The College of Saint Rose upended visiting Post University 13-7 on Saturday…The Golden Knights scored four of the last five goals in the first quarter to put itself in the catbird seat and surrendered only a pair of strikes throughout the second half. Eight players figured in the goal scoring column for Saint Rose, which engineered a 57-38 shot advantage, including a 30-18 shot-on-goal cushion, and a plus-10 turnover differential. Junior midfielder Gabriel Nish finished with three goals and a pair of assists, and fifth-year midfielder John Loughlin recorded a pair of strikes and two assists to lead the offense. Junior attack Eddie Baker and fifth-year attack Jack Pemrick also scored twice.
 
Head Coach Alex Williams on Saturday's win versus Post University: "I'm proud of our team. It's not easy to go out and win three games in six days. We are a determined group and continue to work hard. We demonstrated today the toughness needed to finish out a long week."
 
Scouting Saint Rose (4-1): Saint Rose is off to the best start in program history…Freshman midfielder Nathan Ham was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week, while Nish was selected to the weekly honor roll on Monday…The Golden Knights have outscored their last three opponents 51-17 and have engineered a 159-97 shot advantage within that span…Baker leads the team with 23 points on 17 goals and a team-high six assists…Junior attack Cam Smith follows with a team-leading 18 goals to go with a pair of helpers, while Nish has 10 goals and five assists to his credit…Junior goalie Ryan Fleming has played 210 of the team's 303 minutes between the posts…He owns a 5.70 goals-against-average and a .706 save percentage…Sophomore defenseman Edward Wurszt paces the Golden Knights with eight caused turnovers, while sophomore midfielder Luke Pemrick has seven.
 
Scouting Caldwell (1-1): The Cougars fell 22-4 at #11 Pace University last Wednesday after opening the season with a 14-5 victory versus American International…Junior midfielder Kevin Albright and sophomore attack Jason Staudte are the team's top point producers to date…The former has seven goals and an assist, while Staudte has a pair of strikes and three helpers to his credit…Junior Tim Livingston has played 81 of the team's 120 minutes between the posts...Sophomore midfielder Jayden Paladino has a team-best four caused turnovers.
 
Up Next: Saint Rose is off until Saturday, March 19 when it begins the Northeast-10 Conference portion of its 2022 docket with a 4:00 pm home game versus Bentley. Meanwhile, the Cougars return home Sunday to host Roberts Wesleyan at noon.
