Last Time Out: The College of Saint Rose is coming off last Saturday's 11-8 setback at #5 Mercy College. The Golden Knights came back from a 6-2 halftime deficit to get within two goals in the fourth period. Junior attackmen Cam Smith and Eddie Baker scored three goals apiece, and fifth-year attack Brendan Sheedy had a goal and a pair of assists to pace the Golden Knights offense. Junior midfielder Gabriel Nish accounted for the other goal. Meanwhile, junior Christian Hunt recorded six saves during the game's initial 19:29, while his classmate Ryan Fleming made 13 stops over the final 40:31.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (1-1): Today marks the 2022 home opener for the Golden Knights…Baker and Sheedy lead Saint Rose with six and five goals respectively on the year…The former also paces the squad with three assists to go along with a like number of caused turnovers…Sophomore midfielder Luke Pemrick also has accounted for three opposing miscues, while sophomore defenseman Walter Ross has scooped up a team-high three groundballs.
 
Scouting Georgian Court (0-2): The Lions arrive in the Capital Region off Tuesday's 21-5 setback to #5 Mercy…Sophomore midfielder Tallen Smith paces the squad with four goals, while freshman long stick midfielder Joe Murphy has caused four turnovers…Senior keeper Sebastian Farah has played a team-high 75:00 between the posts.
 
Up Next: Looking ahead, both squads have road dates this Wednesday. The Golden Knights have a 4:00 pm meeting at Dominican, while Georgian Court visits #6 Adelphi at 7:00 pm.
