Setting the Stage: The College of Saint Rose is the second seed and Adelphi the seventh seed in this year's Northeast-10 Conference Championship Tournament. Today's winner will advance to Thursday's semifinal against either sixth seed Saint Anselm or third seed Bentley at the host site of the higher seed. Kickoff time is to be determined.
 
Last Meeting (10/27/21): The Golden Knights and Panthers played to a 0-0 draw on Sullivan Field just 11 days ago. Saint Rose controlled possession for 56.0 percent of the match and engineered a 9-4 shot advantage after halftime, but could not develop the game-winner.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Knights closed out their regular-season campaign on a high note with Wednesday's 7-0 victory at New Haven. Six different players scored a goal for the Golden Knights, who manufactured a 17-4 shot advantage on the way to their 10th shutout of the season. Saint Rose used a pair of dominating sequences to secure the victory. The Golden Knights struck four times within a 17-minute span in the first half, and freshman forward Mia Klammer scored twice 59 seconds apart in the early going of the second stanza. Sophomore back Loryn DonVito closed out the scoring with her first career goal at the 82:12 mark. Junior midfielder Janina Mueller, freshman back Alexandra Getfield, sophomore forward Lauren Amerena, and senior back Luisa Gaudl all scored in the first half.
 
Scouting #8 Saint Rose (12-1-3): The Golden Knights are ranked #8 in this week's United Soccer Coaches National Poll… All-American keeper Marika Laurendeau won her school record 63rd career match Wednesday…She is second among NE10 keepers with a 0.41 goals-against-average on the strength of nine shutouts, the nation's seventh best mark…She also stands second among the conference's leaders with an .873 save percentage…Mueller leads the league with seven assists…Klammer is tied for the conference lead with 11 goals despite only playing 12 games…Her 0.92 goal scoring average is the nation's 12th best mark…Saint Rose has outscored its 16 opponents 41-7…The Golden Knights sit atop the NE10 in scoring defense and are second in scoring offense, with a 0.41 team GAA and a 2.56 goal scoring average…The former places them fourth among the country's leaders, while the latter puts them 25th…Seventeen players have accounted for the 41 goals…Laurendeau was named to the NE10 weekly honor roll Monday.
 
Saint Rose in the NE10 Championship Tournament: The Golden Knights are aiming for a league record ninth NE10 postseason title this year…The have qualified in each of their 20-years of league membership and have advanced to nine Championship Finals.
 
Scouting Adelphi (7-5-3): The Panthers arrive in the postseason unbeaten in their last three matches following Monday's 3-0 non-league home victory versus Georgian Court…Freshmen forwards Carly Issing and Maria D'Angelo lead the team with seven and six goals respectively…Senior Sarah Hofmeier has played the majority of minutes between the posts…She owns a 1.12 GAA.
