Golden Knights in the NCAA Tournament: This year marks the 16th time in 19 years (excluding 2020) that the Golden Knights have been afforded the opportunity to contend for the NCAA Division II National Championship…Saint Rose is now 28-12-5 all-time in NCAA Tournament contests…The Golden Knights have made seven national semifinal appearances (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2019) within the past 14 years, and of course captured the 2011 National Championship.

Scouting Jefferson (12-5-2): The fifth seed Rams are unbeaten in their last four matches following Friday's opening round 0-0 draw versus Saint Anselm, against whom they prevailed 4-2 on PKs…It marked their ninth shutout this season…Jefferson garnered an NCAA Tourmament automatic berth by capturing its third consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title with a 2-0 win as a third seed over fourth seed Wilmington (Del.)…This is Jefferson's fourth NCAA Tournament Appearance…The Rams have advanced past the first round just once…That came in 2015 against none other than Saint Rose via PKs following a 0-0 draw in a match that they were outshot 32-1 by the Golden Knights…Five players have produced double-digit point totals this season…Junior forward Laurel Erick paces the squad with six goals, while sophomore forward Kiery Spatz has five to her credit…Junior midfielder Devin Sullivan, the CACC Player of the Year, leads Jefferson with five assists…Freshman goalkeeper Liv Riddel, who played all 110 minutes Friday, owns a 0.86 GAA while handling just a bit more than half of the team's minutes between the posts.
Diversity: The Saint Rose roster features student-athletes from six states and Canada, in addition to Germany, Finland, England, and Brazil.
All-Conference Honors: Saint Rose is represented by seven student-athletes who were bestowed with 11 total honors on the 2021 NE10 All-League Teams, which were selected by the league's 14 head coaches. Laurendeau was named the Goalkeeper of the Year for the second straight competitive season, while Klammer garnered Rookie of the Year accolades. Rein and Lundy joined them on the first team. Going Forward: The winners of today's match will move on to the East Region Championship Final (round of 16) on Thursday or Friday, December 2 or 3 for, versus Mercy College at the site of the Atlantic Region Champion. The Mavericks, a sixth seed, moved on behind Saturday's 1-0 triumph at second seed Molloy College. The East Region champion will face the Atlantic Region champion in a national quarterfinal match on Saturday or Sunday, December 4 or 5. The winner will advance to the national semifinals at Switchbacks FC Stadium in Colorado Springs, CO. on Thursday, December 9. The national championship match is set for Saturday, December 11.
