Mercy scout: The Mavericks went 3-9 last week, collecting single wins over St. Thomas Aquinas, Dowling and Molloy. The victories snapped a seven-game losing streak that started on Feb. 14 against Bentley during the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. Leading Mercy from the plate is senior Jackie Couillard with a .452 average. Couillard also leads in RBI (17), doubles (4) and homers (3). Freshman Morgan Lloyd (.375) and sophomore Liza Ueno (.294) finalize the top three. Sophomores Holly Pundick and Jackie Kielty have seen the most time in the circle, with Pundick hauling 44.0 innings, and Kielty at 41.2. Pundick holds a 3.94 ERA, while Kielty sits at 4.37.

Saint Rose scout: The Golden Knights enter Monday's non-conference double header after dropping three straight games at
Northeast-10 Conference foe Pace last week. The Setters took both games on Friday, and slipped past Saint Rose on Saturday in a 6-5 extra-inning victory. Sophomore
Carly Wood leads the Golden Knights offense with a .403 average and 25 hits. Juniors
Taylor Snyder and
Tina Karaqi follow behind at .318 and .308, respectively. Karaqi also holds a team-high 11 RBI. From the circle, junior
Nicole Wickham (5-7) registers a 2.61 ERA after allowing 89 hits and 42 runs, 28 of them earned, in 75.0 innings. Sophomore
Renee Vaiano (3-5) follows with a 3.04 ERA in 53.0 total innings.
