Nick Longo meanwhile registered a career-best for the second consecutive game with 23 stops. He furthermore accounted for the game's first strike. The Purple Knights opened up a 12-5 lead, before Saint Rose accounted for the game's final five goals.

Last Meeting: Saint Rose bounced back from a four-goal halftime deficit to get to within one only to fall 8-6 at American International a year ago in Springfield. The Golden Knights outshot the Yellow Jackets 34-29 and had nine fewer turnovers, but led for just a 13-second span in the opening period. Senior attack
Evan Helming had his second consecutive three-goal game and Brett McAuliffe had a goal and a pair of assists to lead the Golden Knights scoring parade. Junior midfielder

Scouting AIC (2-5/0-4 NE-10): The Yellow Jackets are looking for their first road win of the year following Tuesday's 17-3 defeat at #6 Le Moyne…Defenseman Dan Gryszko is fifth nationally with a league-leading 2.57 caused turnovers per-game…Senior goalkeeper Perry Booker has logged all of the team's 420 minutes between the posts…He leads the nation with 16.14 saves per-game…Freshman attack Jack McIntyre and senior attack Bobby Spano pace the squad with 17 points each…The latter is tied for fourth in the NE-10 with 17 goals, while McIntyre has four goals and 13 assists to his credit.
