Last Time Out: Senior attack Evan Helming scored with 20 seconds left in the second overtime to lift The College of Saint Rose to last Saturday's 10-9 victory against visiting Roberts Wesleyan. Also, senior goalie Nick Longo made four saves in the fifth and sixth periods, including a pair in the latter, to afford the Golden Knights an opportunity to close out their 2015 home opener on a high note. The game was close throughout with seven ties and six lead changes. Helming finished with four goals, while senior midfielders Kris Miller and Ryan McFee had two apiece to pace the Saint Rose offense.
 
Last Meeting: Southern New Hampshire scored eight unanswered third quarter goals to upend the Golden Knights 16-5 on April 12 of last year in Manchester. Miller scored twice, while senior attack Kevin Fleming had a goal and an assist to lead Saint Rose. Senior attack Cory Allen scored five goals and fellow senior attack Jeremy Buckley found the back of the net four times to spearhead the Penmen charge.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (1-3/1-1 NE-10): Two of the Golden Knights three setbacks have been decided by one goal and the other was at then fourth-ranked and defending Northeast-10 Champion Adelphi…Longo is fourth among the league leaders with a .646 save percentage, while Miller stands ninth with a team-high 12 points…Senior defenseman Pat Sunday has caused an NE-10 best five turnovers…Fleming paces the offense with eight strikes, while Helming has five to his credit…Five others have also found the back of the net.
 
Scouting Southern New Hampshire (1-2/1-1 NE-10): The Penmen are coming off of Wednesday's 10-9 setback at fourth ranked NE-10 rival Merrimack…They rallied from an 8-3, third quarter deficit to tie it 9-9 with 2:09 to go…Merrimack then struck with the game-winner a minute later…Allen leads the squad with 11 points behind seven goals and four assists, while Buckley is tied for fourth in the NE-10 with nine goals…Senior goalie Crosby Nicholson owns an 8.00 goals-against-average and a .619 save percentage.
 
Up Next: Saint Rose has a 1:00 pm road conference date at Bentley next Saturday, March 21, in Waltham, MA. Meanwhile; Southern New Hampshire has a 3:00 pm non-conference meeting at Mercy this Tuesday, March 17, in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
