The Plot: Today is Senior Day as The College of Saint Rose hosts Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm at 1:00 pm. Senior attack Brett McAuliffe and senior miidfielder Rich Bamberger will be honored during a pregame ceremony.

Last Time Out (4/27/13): Saint Rose got out to a 4-1, first quarter lead only to be held scoreless the rest of the way in a 9-4 setback at Saint Anselm in Manchester, NH. The Golden Knights were thus denied a conference championship berth by a mere one game. Overall, the Hawks generated a 45-30 shot advantage and converted three of their four man-up opportunities throughout the game. Junior attacks Kevin Fleming and Colin Sorber, and sophomore midfielder Jon Munroe scored once each for Saint Rose, while senior goalie Nick Longo came up with 12 saves throughout 55:27 between the pipes. Senior midfielder Jake Mallinson had two goals and a pair of assists to pace Saint Anselm.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (2-11/2-8 NE-10): The Golden Knights have been off the past 11 days following a 16-4 setback to second-ranked Le Moyne. McAuliffe leads the offense with 26 points on 15 goals and 11 assists. Junior attack Evan Helming has a team-leading 16 strikes. Meanwhile, Bamberger and Sorber have 12 goals each, while Fleming has 10 assists. Freshman goalie Joe Shapiro is seventh in the NE-10 with 130 saves, while junior defenseman Jake Files stands 17th in the country and second in the conference with 21 caused turnovers.
 
Scouting Saint Anselm (5-8/4-6 NE-10): The Hawks rallied with 10, second half goals in last Saturday's 15-13 setback to visiting league rival Pace University. Senior attack Ryan Mee had four points and senior midfielder Andrew Messner also had four points to lead the offense. Mee paces the Saint Anselm charge with 42 points on 29 goals and 13 assists, while junior attack Geoff Kennedy and Mallinson have 21 and 20 goals respectively. Sophomore goalie James O'Neill has recorded 135 saves, tied for third most in the league, while playing all but 10 minutes in net.
