The Plot: The College of Saint Rose looks for back-to-back victories against Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Michael's this afternoon at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex.

Last Meeting (3/23/13): Host Saint Michael's opened up a 7-0 lead after the first quarter en route to a 21-4 victory against Saint Rose. The Purple Knights were 3-for-7 in man-up situations, while the Golden Knights were 0-for-7. Sophomore attack Justin Golec scored two goals and junior midfielder Kris Miller finished with a goal and two assists. Senior attack Brett McAuliffe accounted for the other strike. Pete Donnally found the back of the net seven times while senior attack Evan Antolini, along with D.J. Dauria and Marty Vanzo, scored three goals apiece for Saint Michael's.

Scouting Saint Rose (1-5/1-2 NE-10): Saint Rose rallied from a 9-6 deficit late in the third quarter to upend host Assumption 11-10 Wednesday. McAuliffe had four unassisted goals and set up two others. It marked the eighth time throughout his career that McAuliffe tallied at least four goals. He also ran his current goal scoring streak to five games. McAuliffe's team-high 16 points ranks him 10th in the NE-10. The Golden Knights have scored nine man-up goals, second most in the conference. Meanwhile, freshman goalie Joe Shapiro is second in the league with 60 saves.

Scouting Saint Michael's (0-4/0-1 NE-10): Saint Michael's late comeback effort fell shy Tuesday evening during a 10-8 setback to Mercy. The contest was played at Bethpage High School on Long Island. Antolini and senior midfielder Cooper Quenneville share the team-high of eight points. Quenneville has five goals and three assists to his credit while Antolini has five assists and three goals. Sophomore attack Jaime McGill shares the team-high of five goals for all of his points. Sophomore goalie T.J. Bicknell has played 180 minutes, making 31 saves. The Purple Knights advanced to the conference championship semifinal game in 2013.
 
Up Next: The Golden Knights are on the road this Tuesday to face conference rival American International in Springfield, MA. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, the Purple Knights welcome Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday for a 3:00 pm start in Colchester, VT.
