The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Northeast-10 Conference rival Franklin Pierce for the second of two home games this week at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex.

Last Meeting (3/16/13): The College of Saint Rose struck for six goals in the fourth quarter to complete a come-from-behind 11-7 victory at Franklin Pierce. Senior attack Brett McAuliffe registered three of his four strikes and assisted on another during the final 15 minutes when Saint Rose outscored the Ravens 6-1 to rally from a 6-5 deficit. Also, junior midfielder Evan Helming picked up three of his four assists and one of his two goals during the decisive fourth. Junior attack Colin Sorber had two goals along with an assist. For the Ravens, junior attack Kevin Dargin scored three times and junior midfielder Erik Kelly scored twice.

Scouting Saint Rose (0-4/0-1 NE-10): Saint Rose fell behind 3-0 in the opening 10 minutes and was never able to fully recover in Tuesday's 11-6 setback to visiting Mercy. The Golden Knights got back to within a goal on three occasions, but the Mavericks scored five unanswered times throughout a 17 minute stretch that spanned the third and fourth quarters. McAuliffe and Sorber share the team-high of seven points. The former has netted four goals with three assists while Sorber puts forth four assists and three goals. Junior defenseman Jake Files leads the NE-10 with 10 caused turnovers.

Scouting Franklin Pierce (2-1/0-1 NE-10): The Ravens have won back-to-back home games by a combined score of 28-10. They upended Dominican 17-5 last Saturday and Post 11-5 this past Tuesday. Dargin leads Franklin Pierce with 13 points behind 12 goals and one assist. Junior attack Eddie Noonan has registered 10 points with five goals and a like number of assists. Junior goalie Don Denman has made 41 saves throughout 168 minutes covering three games for an 8.22 goals-against-average.

The Golden Knights are on the road this Wednesday to face conference rival Assumption in Worcester, MA. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, the Ravens travel to NE-10 foe Adelphi next Saturday for a 4:00 pm start on Long Island.
