Last Time Out: The College of Saint Rose celebrated Senior Day by scoring a pair of first half goals that stood up in a 2-0 victory against visiting Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley Saturday afternoon. The Golden Knights dictated the pace early before a cold downpour and a steady wind hampered any meaningful ball possession throughout the final 30 minutes. Saint Rose manufactured a 17-1 shot advantage and a 9-2 corner kick differential during the first period. Freshman forward Morgan Burchhardt scored both goals while senior forward Carmelina Puopolo and junior midfielder Jennifer Busk each picked up an assist.

Last Meeting (9/30/14): Six different players figured in the scoring column for Saint Rose, which registered all of its strikes in the opening 45 minutes. The Setters spoiled the shutout with a goal in the 61st minute. Puopolo recorded her fourth multi-goal game of the year to lead Saint Rose. Burchhardt had a goal and an assist while senior back Jourdan Thompson accounted for the final tally. Furthermore, Busk and junior midfielder Gianna Smith each had an assist. Senior midfielder Jillian Ferro scored for the Setters.

Scouting Saint Rose (15-1-2): The second-seed Golden Knights are aiming to advance to their 13th consecutive NE-10 Championship Semifinal. They are ranked #6 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire National Poll. Saint Rose has now won 15 games in each of the past nine seasons. The Golden Knights lead the NE-10 with 46 goals and a 0.42 team goals-against-average. They also pace the conference with 151 corner kicks, 42 more than any other team. Fifteen players have at least one goal including Puopolo who stands tied for fourth nationally with 16 goals and fifth with 38 points. Burchhardt is tied for the league lead with eight assists. She also has seven strikes to her credit, including four game winners. Sophomore keeper Ashley Homer has logged all of the squad's 1,695 minutes between the posts. She owns an 0.852 save percentage. Puopolo was named the NE-10 Player of the Week, while Burchhardt was tabbed the Rookie of the Week yesterday.

Scouting Pace (10-8-0): The Setters have won four of their last five following Saturday's 5-0 victory against visiting Saint Michael's. Sophomore forward Alyssa Zeoli and Ferro are third and fourth respectively among the conference's point producers. Zeoli has 33 points on 15 goals and a three assists, while Ferro has 30 points via 11 strikes and eight helpers, which ties her with Burchhardt for the league lead. The duo accounts for 56.8 percent of the squad's total offensive production. Freshmen keepers Lauren DeSousa and Aisha Chauhan have split time this autumn. The former owns a 0.79 GAA, while Chauhan has a 1.66 GAA.

Up Next: The winner of today's match will meet either Le Moyne or Adelphi in a semifinal encounter this Friday, November 7. The NE-10 Championship Final is set for this Sunday, November 9 at 1:00 pm, at the site of the highest remaining seed.
