Sophomore midfielder Jennifer Busk struck with the lone goal for the second straight time to help lead the Golden Knights past Northeast-10 Conference rival Adelphi tonight.

GARDEN CITY, NY - The College of Saint Rose ran its shutout streak to six games with a 1-0 victory at Northeast-10 Conference rival Adelphi tonight in a match that featured two unbeaten squads. The Golden Knights (6-0/3-0 NE-10), who are ranked #3 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Weekly Poll, also improved to 3-0 on the road.

Sophomore midfielder Jennifer Busk scored the lone goal for the second consecutive game to lift the Golden Knights. Freshman midfielder Emily Meeks directed a ball to Busk who turned and found the back of the net from about 12-yards out.

Senior keeper Jessica Gerski made three saves for Saint Rose while junior Sam Whitney made four saves for Adelphi (3-1-1/1-1-1 NE-10).

Overall, the Golden Knights manufactured a 17-8 shot advantage and a 10-2 differential in corner kicks. They have now taken 58 corner kicks on the year, and have had to defend a mere eight.

Looking ahead, both squads have 1:00 pm conference home games on tap for Saturday. Saint Rose will host Franklin Pierce at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex, while the Panthers will entertain Saint Michael's.
