The Plot: The College of Saint Rose concludes a three-game homestand at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex hosting Northeast-10 Conference rival Adelphi at 7:00 pm this evening. The game can be watched live on www.gogoldenknights.tv.

Last Meeting (3/3/12): Saint Rose fell behind 6-1 after the first quarter that allowed host Adelphi to upend the Golden Knights 14-9. The Golden Knights rebounded from the initial 15 minutes by matching the Panthers goal-for-goal throughout the final three quarters. Junior attack Brett McAuliffe scored three goals and added an assist, while senior midfielder Rich Bamberger scored twice to lead Saint Rose. Junior goalie Nick Longo recorded 17 saves. Joe Vitale and sophomore midfielder Jamie McAndrew scored three times to pace the Panthers.

Scouting Saint Rose (2-6/2-2 NE-10): McAuliffe has scored 23 points this season behind 17 goals and six assists to rank fourth in the conference. His 17 goals puts him in a four-way tie for the league lead. Sophomore midfielder John Zullo has scooped up 30 ground balls for the Golden Knights, fifth most in the NE-10. Furthermore, sophomore defender Jake Files has caused the second most turnovers in the league with 17.

Scouting #2 Adelphi (6-0/\4-0 NE-10): The Panthers most recently defeated Southern New Hampshire 12-3 on Saturday. Senior attack Nick Watson scored a game-high three goals while four different goalies made 13 saves for Adelphi. The Panthers average 11.17 goals per-game and allow a mere 5.83 per-game. Adelphi leads the conference with a 69.8 save percentage. Freshman attack Salvatore Tuttle has scored 11 goals and 10 assists for a team-best 21 points. Adelphi is slotted #2 in the latest USILA Coaches' Poll released on Monday, receiving one first place vote.

Up Next: The Golden Knights travel to Waltham, MA on Saturday to face host Bentley for a league matchup scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm. The Panthers also play Saturday, hosting conference rival Le Moyne at 4:00 pm in Garden City, NY.
