The Plot: The College of Saint Rose plays game two of a three-game homestand at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex hosting Northeast-10 Conference foe Merrimack at 1:00 pm today.

Last Meeting (3/25/12): Saint Rose roared back from a 6-1 deficit with five unanwered strikes, but visiting Merrimack closed the game with a 9-0 run to upend the Golden Knights 15-6. Sophomore attack Kevin Fleming scored two goals and added an assist to lead Saint Rose. Meanwhile, senior midfielder Rich Bamberger and sophomore midfielder Kris Miller each had a goal and an assist. Senior attack Corey Lunney and sophomore attack Jamie Shand had four goals apiece to pave the way for the Warriors.

Scouting Saint Rose (2-5/2-1 NE-10): The Golden Knights won their first overtime game in program history with a 9-8 victory versus visiting American International on Tuesday. Saint Rose previoulsy won its first game as an official NE-10 member by defeating host Franklin Pierce 11-7 on Saturday, March 16. Junior attack Brett McAuliffe is currently tied for the most goals in the league with 16. He adds six assists to lead the Golden Knights with 22 points. Meanwhile, Fleming reached 10 goals for the year against American International that included the game-tying and game-winning strikes.

Scouting #5 Merrimack (3-1/2-0 NE-10): The Warriors come off a dramatic home victory this past Tuesday by defeating #1 Le Moyne 5-3. Senior goalie Connor Reagan made a career-high 24 saves in the contest. Merrimack is tied with LIU Post for the #5 ranking in the latest USILA Poll. Luney leads the Warriors and is sixth in the conference with 18 points behind 14 goals and four assists. Reagan is third in the NE-10 with a 64.2 save percentage. Merrimack has 13 players with at least one point registered this season.

Up Next: The Golden Knights conclude this three-game homestand Wednesday night against conferene rival Adelphi. First faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm. The Warriors are also in action Wednesday, traveling to Rindge, NH to face Franklin Pierce.
