The Plot: The College of Saint Rose returns home after five games away from Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex to face Northeast-10 Conference rival American International today at 4:00 pm.

Last Meeting (4/28/12): Saint Rose rattled off a 12-2 run that bridged the two halves to provide a fitting conclusion to its inagural season as the Golden Knights cruised to an 18-6 victory versus visiting American International. Eight different players found the back of the net for Saint Rose, which tied its season-high with 18 strikes. Junior attack Brett McAuliffe paved the way for Saint Rose with four goals. Junior goalie Nick Longo turned aside 12 shots throughout three quarters of action.

Scouting Saint Rose (1-5/1-1 NE-10): Today commences a three-game homestand for the Golden Knights who last played here a month ago. Saint Rose won its first game as an official NE-10 member by defeating host Franklin Pierce 11-7 on Saturday, March 16.  McAuliffe leads the Golden Knights and is tied for fourth in the league behind 18 points (14 goals, 4 assists). Sophomore defenders Jake Files and Dan Southard rank second and third in the conference in caused turnovers with 14 and 10 respectively.

Scouting American International (1-6/0-3 NE-10): The Yellow Jackets are coming off of Saturday's 15-4 loss to visiting Merrimack. The lone victory on the season for American International came on Wednesday, February 27 in a 9-6 home win against UMass Boston. Junior attack Nick Amendt and sophomore attack Zak Guenther have six goals with a like number of assists. 

Up Next: The Golden Knights return home this Saturday for a 1:00 pm faceoff against NE-10 foe and fifth-ranked Merrimack. The Yellow Jackets will host conference rival Franklin Pierce this Friday at 4:00 pm in Springfield, MA.
