The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Nyack College for a non-conference match at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex this afternoon.

Michaela Phillips had one goal each. Saint Rose has now won 10 consecutive regular-season, non-conference games dating back to the 2008 season-opener.
Scouting Nyack (0-0-0): Today marks the 2012 season-opener for Nyack. The Warriors have been selected to finish eighth in the
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. In 2011, Nyack went 6-6 in conference play and 6-11 overall. Senior midfielders Stacey Cervantes and Ashlee Hayes are the top returning goal scorers. They each registered four strikes a year ago. Sophomore keeper Madelin Barbarino posted 1.66 goals-against-average and made 56 saves as a rookie.

Northeast-10 Conference opener for both squads. The River Hawks were ranked #17 in the
NSCAA preseason poll. The Golden Knights return home next Wednesday, September 12 with a 5:30 pm league contest versus Le Moyne. Meanwhile, Nyack is back on the road for its conference-opener at Post University in Waterbury, CT this Thursday. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm.
National Championship and Hall of Fame Celebrations: Saint Rose will celebrate the 2011 National Championship throughout the afternoon of Saturday, September 15. The Golden Knights take on Southern New Hampshire at 1:00 pm. Also, former star and current assistant coach Renae Ransdell ('04) will be among five outstanding individuals who will be inducted into the College's
