The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Adelphi University for a Northeast-10 Conference match at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex this evening.  Tonight's match will also be streamed live on www.gogoldenknights.tv

Last Meeting (9/20/11): Saint Rose picked up a 3-0 win on the road as sophomore forward Brittany Barry and junior midfielder Sydney Bond each came up with a goal and an assist. Junior forward Carmelina Puopolo netted the first strike in the 22nd minute on a pass from Barry. Less than six minutes later, Bond set up Barry to put the Golden Knights up 2-0. In the second half, Bond struck a shot inside the right post to cap the scoring.

Scouting #3 Saint Rose (4-0-1/2-0-1 NE-10): The Golden Knights are coming off of Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Southern New Hampshire. Puopolo registered her sixth goal of the season in the 55th minute before the Penmen connected on the equalizer just five minutes later. Puopolo continues to lead the NE-10 with 19 points on six goals and seven assists. Freshman midfielder Kristin Carr and Bond each have four goals and are among the conference's top-10 point producers. Junior keeper Jessica Gerski has allowed just one goal in 368 minutes throughout five matches. She has also made nine saves. The Golden Knights are 31-0-2 since they began playing on this pitch in 2010.

Scouting Adelphi (4-1-1/1-1-1 NE-10): The Panthers enter today off of Saturday's 4-0 victory at #23 UMass Lowell. Senior forward Emily Masiello accounted for a goal and an assist. Sophomore midfielder Donna Liotine leads Adelphi with five goals while senior forward Kaitlin Monteith has four strikes on the year. Sophomore Sam Whitney has come up with 20 saves and has yielded only two goals in six games thus far. She has twice been named the NE-10 Goalkeeper of the Week.

Up Next: Saint Rose travels to Rindge, NH to meet conference rival Franklin Pierce on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm. Adelphi is also in action on Saturday with a 1:00 pm NE-10 date at Saint Michael's.
